A Testimony

Chris was first assigned to me in 2007 by Phillips Securities after I have requested for more information on Unit Trust investments.

This was my first attempt at such investment tools and I had only a vague idea of how the whole scheme worked.  When Chris spoke to me, he was very confident of his products and displayed much in depth knowledge of the way unit trusts investments worked.  I was initially quite apprehensive of putting my savings into these unit trusts and other derivations of these investments tools.  However, Chris was able to explain to me slowly and patiently until I had gained a grasp of the schemes.  He was neither pushy nor over exertive. He did not put thoughts in my head nor did he try to influence me into buying his favorite unit trusts. He just laid the “cards” on the table and left me to make up my own mind. This I appreciated very much and certainly I did not wished to be coerced or compelled in any way. Chris was also able to paint a general wide picture of the economic scenario so that I could see a better insight of the economy in order for me to make better choices as to what type of unit trusts would suit my risk appetite.

In general, Chris has the ability to connect with investors like me.  He is friendly, warm and has a good sense of humour. His after sales service is very satisfactory and he does his research quite diligently.  With his research, I have continually received researched articles, news, invitations to seminars and even other types of articles portraying life, its idiosyncrasies, humour and meanings which make reading rather fun and enlightening. Chris also takes his valuable time to keep me in touch of my investments.  In his friendly and approachable mannerism, we have become more than just business acquaintances but friends.  In short, his trustworthiness and reliability makes me confident of my investments with him
